Here are some pretty nice shots of Gillette Stadium, home of the world champion New England Patriots.
In between week 1 and 2, my company had a management meeting at the new Gillette Stadium. As we were scheduled to take a tour through the empty stadium, I couldn't let the opportunity pass to bring my digital camera along. My only regret is that I didn't take any photos from the outside. By the time we left the meeting it was too dark out. The stadium is as impressive outside as it is inside.

View from back of southern end zone. One of two jumbo trons in pictured. |
Not quite upper level, but pretty close. |

Taken right from the field. Couldn't actually go on the grass, but from the small track that runs around it. The torn grass was due to a recent Rolling Stones concert. Stadium officials were supposedly less than thrilled. |
Lighthouse and bridge in distance from the field. Notice on the right side near the bleachers is a staircase. Gillette Stadium is the only one to have the players go down a staircase that leads directly to the locker room. The visitors have to walk around the field and through the tunnel then down a long stairway to their locker room. Pats get a few extra minutes of halftime preperation.

Picture of the main jumbo tron behind southern end zone. For those that don't know, I work for Harvey Industries (sign to the right of the jumbo tron). We knew we had a sign somewhere at the stadium, but not where everyone is looking at replays the whole game. This sign rotates during the game -- I saw it as Pepsi while watching the other day. |
Another field view.
